Meet Peter Wood. Who spent two years in Scotland after High School as a trainee priest and. . . well. . . that’s another story.
Pete started at art school in Wakefield, northern England, studying fine art, sculpture, and pottery. Then the London Institute for graphic design, typography, and advertising. Entering Saatchi & Saatchi as an art director in 1985. Today, Pete loves to write.
Pete further honed his creative skills at four other UK agencies. Lecturing at schools outside of London, including Southampton and Leicester. And being a visiting lecturer, at Hull and Buckinghamshire schools of art for five years.
In these United States Pete started as a Creative Director at Ogilvy NY also working in Beijing and Hong Kong. Moving on to The Euro Agency in NY and Amsterdam. Followed by The Martin Agency in Richmond, then Goodby Silverstein in San Francisco. And latterly at Slingshot in Dallas. Peter is currently at Resident Alien, a start up here in Dallas.
Also in the US Pete has imparted his British sensibilities at the Miami Ad School, SF School of Art & Crafts, SVA NY, the Creative Circus in Atlanta, and at the VCU Brand Center, in Richmond VA. At VCU’s invitation, he spent two summers — teaching ideation, at the Dentsu Ad Agency, in Japan.
Let's "Hold On".

Why? Let’s find out on Wednesday the 5th of April.
